5-star rated on Tripadvisor & Viator
More than 240 travelers have reviewed our private Washington DC limo tours across Tripadvisor and Viator, and the same praise repeats: the chauffeur-guide who knows every monument, the on-time hotel pickup, and a day that felt effortless. Read our Tripadvisor reviews and our Viator reviews for yourself.
Guests we pick up in Alexandria most often mention trips with children and grandparents along, the on-time hotel pickup and how little walking the day needs. The same details repeat: patience and flexibility with the plan and a spotless, comfortable vehicle. Each review below links to the Tripadvisor or Viator listing it was posted on.

Good value for a large group
For 10 people (4 adult and 6 kids/teens), this was a great alternative to the other night tours. We even got to see some of the less known memorials at the Pentagon! Very friendly and helpful driver.
★★★★★
DC tour
The driver was super knowledgeable about the different monuments and allowed us to experience them in whatever order we wanted stopping at different ones for us to take pictures and explore along the route. Extremely worth it for my family and I.

Khan was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable.
Our ride was smooth and the limo quite clean! Our family of 10 fit perfectly with room to spare.

What really stood out was his warmth and professionalism—he was patient, courteous, and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even shared great local tips that made our experience better. Oupa and I truly appreciated his kindness and reliability. If you're looking for a driver who treats you like family, Maaz is your guy. Highly recommend him without hesitation! Thank you, Maaz★★★★★

My family was visiting from Florida and wanted to
be able to see DC while here during the Thanksgiving holiday. Although, we booked last minute our tour date and time was accomodated. Our tour guide, Zaki was awesome. My family had a great time. We will book again.

We had a great time and if we ever tour again we will definitely choose this option.
we had three kids six adults, and there was plenty of room and the windows were awesome just to look out and see even when certain areas of Washington DC could go slow enough to view it

Our driver was the best ever.
He knew exactly what every monument and statue was. He was sooo patient with the kids. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I can’t say enough good things about this experience and our driver.

Great tour!
For 10 people it was only a little more expensive than the public tours and was SO much more fun and easier, especially since they picked us up. Would recommend!

He asked what are the must sees. Since we are here during the beginning of the cherry blossom season, we wanted to make sure we get to see them along with all of the monuments. He made stops for us to take pictures and made sure we do not have to walk too much since we have elderly and little ones. It was very fun for everyone to ride in the limo too and see all the attention we get on the roads. It was a great experience and headache-free for us to not have to plan our routes and find parking etc.★★★★★

We hit all the major points of interest, could customize when we went to fit in between other activities, and had a wonderful driver! Would recommend to anyone, particularly if you have young children or grandparents along for the ride! We went in the afternoon as the sun was setting, fewer crowds and a really pretty view of the monuments and memorials.★★★★★

The City of Alexandria splits naturally in two for chauffeur work. Old Town is the 18th-century waterfront district along King Street, all brick rowhouses and cobblestone side streets, with a wedding calendar that stays full March through November. The rest of the city (Del Ray, Carlyle, Eisenhower Avenue, the West End) books mostly corporate and airport work. DCA is about 15 minutes up the GW Parkway, hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in an Executive Sedan, and a private tour toward Mount Vernon or the DC monuments starts at $440 for 4 hours. Call (202) 609-9811, any hour.
Eight verified hotels across the city’s two halves:
Old Town: Archer Hotel Old Town Alexandria (1600 King St), the boutique anchor at the top of King Street, formerly the Lorien; The Alexandrian, Autograph Collection (480 King St); The Westin Alexandria Old Town (400 Courthouse Square); and Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria (220 S Union St) on the waterfront.
West End and the Route 1 corridor: Hilton Alexandria Mark Center (5000 Seminary Rd), Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria Old Town Area South (5821 Richmond Hwy), Hampton Inn Alexandria/Pentagon South (4800 Leesburg Pike), Homewood Suites Alexandria/Pentagon South (4850 Leesburg Pike).
Hotel details last updated July 2026. Staying somewhere else in Alexandria? We pick up there too; the list above is simply what we’ve verified street-by-street.
Can Smart Limo pick us up at the Archer Hotel in Old Town? Yes. The Archer at 1600 King St sits at the top of the King Street retail strip, and the chauffeur stages just off King on the cross street, since King itself moves slowly on weekend evenings. DCA is about 15 minutes up the GW Parkway from here.
Does pickup work from the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center? It does. The Mark Center tower at 5000 Seminary Rd has a full circular drive, and its West End location puts I-395 one minute away, which makes Pentagon and DC meeting runs quick.
And the hotels along Richmond Highway and Leesburg Pike? All covered: both Hampton Inns and the Homewood Suites. These are the practical bases for groups visiting Mount Vernon, which sits 15 minutes south of the Richmond Highway cluster.
Wedding transportation is our most common Alexandria booking. Ceremonies run at Christ Church on Cameron Street (George Washington’s own parish), St. Mary’s, and the waterfront venues; receptions fill the Old Town hotel ballrooms. The photo circuit is the part worth planning: Waterfront Park at the foot of King Street, Founders Park just north, and the stretch of Strand Street behind the Torpedo Factory. A chauffeur who knows the Strand Street parking situation saves a wedding party 20 minutes of day-of frustration, and ours know it well. The stretch limousine and Sprinter handle the party; the sedan runs the couple.
Mount Vernon, George Washington’s estate, is 8 miles south of Old Town on the GW Parkway, one of the few genuinely scenic drives left in the metro area. A chauffeured Mount Vernon visit combined with an Old Town lunch is a natural half day, and the Mount Vernon tour is built around exactly that. Add the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, which towers over King Street’s west end, and the day fills comfortably.
Old Town’s rowhouses are thick with short-term rentals, and they book chauffeurs constantly. Send the street address with your booking; on the cobblestone side streets off King, the chauffeur coordinates by text and pulls to the nearest workable corner rather than blocking a lane. Private homes across Del Ray and Seminary Hill work the same way.
Does pickup work from an Old Town rowhouse rental? It does. Include the address and any parking note. Weekend evenings on lower King Street are pedestrian-heavy, so the chauffeur confirms a corner one block off the strip.
| Airport | Typical drive | Note |
|---|---|---|
| DCA (Reagan National) | 15 min | GW Parkway north; ~10 min before dawn |
| IAD (Dulles) | 30 to 35 min | I-395 to the Dulles Toll Road |
| BWI (Baltimore/Washington) | 50 min | I-495 east to the BW Parkway |
Planning estimates, not promises. The GW Parkway backs up southbound on weekday afternoons, and the chauffeur routes via Telegraph Road or Route 1 when it does. Airport pickup at DCA comes as part of an hourly or tour booking, curbside at arrivals or inside the terminal on request.
South of Old Town, the Carlyle neighborhood holds the TSA headquarters and the Patent and Trademark Office complex, with the Eisenhower Avenue Metro alongside. Corporate work here is steady: an hourly car that runs DCA arrival, agency meetings, and a King Street dinner before the hotel.
Crystal City sits between Alexandria and DCA with its 14-hotel airport district. Arlington is 15 minutes north. National Harbor is directly across the Wilson Bridge. Browse the Northern Virginia hub or see hotel and Airbnb pickup for how pickup works everywhere we serve.
Call (202) 609-9811 or book online. Dispatch answers 24/7. For wedding days, call to walk through timing and photo stops so the schedule is built right.
Hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in the Executive Sedan and $420 in the Executive SUV, then $110 and $120 an hour. A private tour toward Mount Vernon or the DC monuments from an Old Town hotel is $440 for 4 hours; the stretch limousine is $540. One flat quote, no surge.
Yes: the Archer Hotel at the top of King Street, the Old Town waterfront hotels, Airbnb rowhouses on the cobblestone side streets, wedding venues along the Strand and homes from Del Ray to Seminary Hill. The chauffeur knows the Strand Street parking situation and stages where loading is easy.
Yes. DCA is about 15 minutes up the GW Parkway, and the pickup runs inside a 3-hour hourly booking from $380 that also covers the hotel, a meeting in the Carlyle district or a King Street dinner. Flights are tracked; the chauffeur is curbside, or inside the terminal on request.
Pickup and drop-off are included anywhere within about 20 miles of downtown DC (ZIP 20005), roughly a 30-minute drive, and Old Town Alexandria is about 8 miles and 20 minutes from downtown, well inside the included area, and on the way to Mount Vernon. The drive counts inside your booked hours, so a 4-hour tour with 30 minutes each way leaves about 3 hours in the city; guests further out often book 5 hours. Beyond the 20-mile circle, call dispatch at (202) 609-9811 and we quote one flat rate that includes the travel.
For a single ride, no; for an evening with two or three stops or a day of meetings, yes, because the vehicle waits at each stop at a fixed price with no surge. Downtown DC is 20 to 25 minutes and Arlington 15, so an hourly booking from Old Town covers the whole evening.
Yes, it is the natural half day from here: Mount Vernon sits about 15 minutes south of the Richmond Highway hotels, and the private tour combines the estate with an Old Town lunch on King Street. From $440 for 4 hours; the 5-hour version with the full estate visit is $550 in the Executive Sedan.
