Awesome experience from the booking to the tour. Amin was super from the first communication until we returned. It was very easy and we got to see all of the sights with him dealing with traffic. He picked us up and returned us to our hotel and waited at each stop so we did not have far to walk. My kids loved every…

For 10 people it was only a little more expensive than the public tours and was SO much more fun and easier, especially since they picked us up. Would recommend!

We were picked up at our hotel and the driver was super friendly.

The limo driver took some pictures and made a personalized video using one of our cell phones of our group before and after we entered the limo. The day we toured DC it was going to be 100° F. Rather than ride a bus, bike, or other means, we took the limo which was air conditioned and the driver dropped us next to each…

Limo service in Washington: the full guide

Washington DC limo service covers the full District: the National Mall and monument core, Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, Foggy Bottom, Embassy Row on Massachusetts Avenue, Shaw, Navy Yard, and every neighborhood in between. It is our home market and the busiest single dispatch zone we operate.

The DC geography matters more than most clients expect. A hotel in Georgetown and a hotel in Capitol Hill are both “DC,” but they sit 25 minutes apart by car on a normal afternoon. DCA runs are easy from both; the routes just differ. A pickup at the Hay-Adams near the White House is a different logistics problem than a pickup at the Watergate in Foggy Bottom. We know the specifics.

The monument and mall circuit

The National Mall stretches from the Lincoln Memorial on the west to the Capitol on the east, about 3 miles. Vehicle access to the Mall itself is restricted, so the chauffeur-guide stages on Constitution Avenue, Independence Avenue or Ohio Drive, walks you to the best vantage point, and narrates the site before repositioning for the next stop. You do not plan any of it. Our DC sightseeing tour packages are built around that logic.

The standard 4-hour monument circuit covers 11 walk-up stops: the U.S. Capitol, the White House perimeter, the World War I and World War II memorials, the Washington Monument, the Tidal Basin trio (Jefferson, FDR, and MLK), the Korean War and Vietnam Veterans memorials, and the Lincoln Memorial, with the chauffeur narrating roughly 19 more landmarks in between. A full day adds Arlington National Cemetery, the Iwo Jima and Air Force memorials, and Georgetown.

Cherry Blossom season (typically late March to early April, depending on the year) is the single busiest booking period on the monument circuit. The Tidal Basin fills with pedestrian traffic, vehicle lanes near the basin close, and standard routes require adjustment. Book 6 to 8 weeks out if you want a specific date during peak bloom.

Embassy Row and diplomatic pickups

Massachusetts Avenue between Dupont Circle and Observatory Circle is Embassy Row: 40-plus foreign embassies and ambassadors’ residences on a 2-mile stretch. Diplomatic pickups here are a specific skill. The chauffeur arrives at the residence or embassy entrance at the requested time and waits curbside; the pickup protocol varies by country and by the nature of the engagement. These bookings often require exact timing around official schedules. Call (202) 609-9811 and dispatch times the pickup to the official schedule.

Georgetown and the hotel cluster

Georgetown has no Metro station, which makes private car service more useful here than in most DC neighborhoods. The Rosewood on 31st Street by the C&O Canal and the Four Seasons on Pennsylvania Avenue are the marquee pickups, and the Georgetown page covers the full neighborhood. Evening restaurant pickups along M Street and Wisconsin Avenue are common on weekends.

The area between Georgetown and Foggy Bottom (the GWU campus, the State Department complex on 23rd Street, the Kennedy Center) generates regular corporate and event transport. Kennedy Center event pickups on the Rock Creek Parkway side require knowing the staging arrangement for different venue entrances.

Downtown DC and the hotel corridor

Downtown holds the city’s densest hotel corridor, more than 40 verified pickup hotels from the Willard and Waldorf Astoria to the Convention Center cluster, and it has its own dedicated page with every hotel, address, and pickup detail. One example of why the detail matters: pickup at the Hay-Adams, directly opposite the White House, depends on the H Street staging situation, which changes with the White House security posture that day. Our chauffeurs track it.

Airport connections from DC

DCA is about 15 minutes from downtown DC via the 14th Street Bridge and I-395. IAD is 40 to 45 minutes from downtown via I-66 west and the Dulles Toll Road. BWI is a similar 40 to 45 minutes via I-95 north and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. For early-morning departures, the DC-to-DCA run at 4 a.m. takes about 10 minutes. The IAD run at the same hour takes 30.

For last-minute DC pickups, dispatch can typically have a vehicle at an inner-DC address within 20 to 30 minutes. Pre-scheduled bookings get priority routing.

Common DC bookings

  • Airport pickup at DCA, IAD, or BWI inside an hourly or tour booking from any DC hotel or residence
  • DC monuments half-day or full-day tour by limousine or SUV
  • Embassy Row diplomatic pickup, timed to official schedule
  • Corporate roadshow: hotel to Capitol Hill to K Street to Georgetown, same chauffeur all day
  • Wedding transportation between DC ceremony venue and reception
  • Kennedy Center event pickup and return
  • Georgetown hotel roundtrip for restaurant or event evenings

Nearby service areas

Every DC neighborhood has its own page with hotel lists and routing detail: Downtown DC, Georgetown, Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, Adams Morgan, The Wharf, and NoMa. Northern Virginia coverage starts at the Northern Virginia hub; Maryland at the Maryland hub. Hotel, Airbnb, and any-address pickup everywhere is explained at hotel and Airbnb pickup, and the full map lives at the DC service areas hub.

Washington limo questions

How much does limo service in Washington DC cost?

Hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in the Executive Sedan and $420 in the Executive SUV, then $110 and $120 an hour. A private monuments tour is $440 for 4 hours, the black Lincoln stretch $540, the Mercedes Sprinter $560 and the white Hummer limousine $760. One flat quote, no surge.

Do you serve all DC neighborhoods?

Yes: Downtown and Penn Quarter, Georgetown, Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, Adams Morgan, NoMa, the Wharf and every residential street between. A Georgetown hotel and a Capitol Hill hotel are both DC yet sit 25 minutes apart, so the chauffeur plans the route for your side of town.

Can you pick up at DC hotels, Airbnbs and private homes?

Yes. Hotels from the Four Seasons and Rosewood in Georgetown to the St. Regis, the Willard and the Marriott Marquis downtown, plus Airbnb apartments, rowhouses, offices, restaurants and event venues. The chauffeur meets you at the door, and dispatch confirms the pickup point the day before.

Are there extra charges for pickup outside the city?

Pickup and drop-off are included anywhere within about 20 miles of downtown DC (ZIP 20005), roughly a 30-minute drive, and every DC address is inside that circle, most within 10 to 15 minutes of the first stop. The drive counts inside your booked hours, so a 4-hour tour with 30 minutes each way leaves about 3 hours in the city; guests further out often book 5 hours. Beyond the 20-mile circle, call dispatch at (202) 609-9811 and we quote one flat rate that includes the travel.

How far are the DC airports from downtown?

Reagan National is about 15 minutes via the 14th Street Bridge, and closer to 10 at 4am. Dulles is 40 to 45 minutes via I-66 and the Toll Road, and BWI a similar 40 to 45 up the BW Parkway. Airport pickup runs inside an hourly booking from $380, with the flight tracked.

How quickly can you get a car to a DC address?

For a last-minute pickup at an inner-DC address dispatch can usually have a vehicle there within 20 to 30 minutes when one is free, and the line is staffed 24/7. For a guaranteed vehicle, especially a stretch or the Hummer on a weekend, 24 hours' notice is the safe margin.
