The car was extremely clean, cool and he had bottled water for us as well. I would book this again.★★★★★
Loved every minute of every place our driver took us .
Amin was great and I recommend him with my eyes closed. He left us on every attraction and picked us up at end . We felt like millionaires!!!!

Great tour!
For 10 people it was only a little more expensive than the public tours and was SO much more fun and easier, especially since they picked us up. Would recommend!

We were picked up at our hotel and the driver was super friendly. The limo driver took some pictures and made a personalized video using one of our cell phones of our group before and after we entered the limo. The day we toured DC it was going to be 100° F. Rather than ride a bus, bike, or other means, we took the limo which was air conditioned and the driver dropped us next to each site in the tour and pick us up either in the same spot as the drop off or close by as we left each site. In the limo there was free water bottle and ice with cups, which was refreshing on a hot day. We could choose the music we wanted to listen to through a cell phone the limo driver provided. There were some times the music was a bit loud, but either through the cell phone or a control in the car, the volume can be adjusted. It was also fun to watch people outside the limo as they were taking pictures of our vehicle (the hummer limo) just was much as some of the sites. If you are planning a tour of DC, I would recommend taking the personalized limo tour for comfort and you can choose how long you staying at each site and where to go. This is the way to go! We had 7 people in the limo and had lots of extra room for more people.★★★★★

Great way to see the Capital if you only have a few hours.
We had an afternoon flight on a Sunday and decided to get a tour of DC in the morning. It turned out to be a great way to see the major sights and monuments in a short period of time. Stopped at all the major landmarks on the Mall.

This tour was outstanding! Our driver Amin was a gem! He picked us up from the lobby of our hotel and right away took pictures and got us started. He was able give us the history of the city, stopped at all major monuments and took pictures for us at all stops. It was raining very hard but he had umbrellas ready, let us know the walk time to certain up close views to make sure we were prepared (all were short walks less than 5 mins and nothing hard to get to just not able to drive the limo all the way up to some which was totally understandable) but also made stops if needed (bathroom and quick food pick ups). We were out for a full four hours which left time to just drive around and see the city and enjoy the limo. I would highly recommend this tour even if you’ve been to DC and seen the sites in the past as it was super fun and the limo was very comfortable (we had 7 total people with plenty of room)! Thank you for a GREAT experience!★★★★★

Absolutely the best way to be picked up from
BWI then taken on private tour around DC and dropped off at your hotel!
Yes, Smart Limo Rental picks up from every hotel, Airbnb, office, and home in Bethesda MD. That covers the twelve verified hotels below, the NIH and Walter Reed campuses, a Bethesda Row dinner reservation, or your own driveway off Bradley Boulevard. Bethesda draws visiting scientists, Marriott and Lockheed executives, and residents who book a chauffeur for dinner as readily as for a flight. Downtown DC is about 25 minutes down Wisconsin Avenue, and hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in an Executive Sedan. A private DC tour from a Bethesda hotel starts at $440 for 4 hours, picked up and returned to your door. Call (202) 609-9811 and dispatch confirms your pickup point, any hour of the day.
Twelve verified hotels, in three real clusters:
Downtown Bethesda: Marriott Bethesda Downtown at Marriott HQ (7707 Woodmont Ave), Hyatt Regency Bethesda (7400 Wisconsin Ave), AC Hotel Bethesda Downtown (4646 Montgomery Ave), Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Downtown (7301 Waverly St), Residence Inn Bethesda Downtown (7335 Wisconsin Ave), The Bethesdan, Tapestry Collection (8120 Wisconsin Ave), American Inn of Bethesda (8130 Wisconsin Ave).
Pooks Hill and Democracy Boulevard: Bethesda Marriott (5151 Pooks Hill Rd), Embassy Suites Bethesda (6711 Democracy Blvd).
North Bethesda and Rockville: Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center (5701 Marinelli Rd, Rockville), Canopy by Hilton Bethesda North (940 Rose Ave, North Bethesda), EVEN Hotel Rockville (1775 Rockville Pike).
Hotel details last updated July 2026.
The geography explains the demand. NIH’s main campus sits on Wisconsin Avenue at the Montgomery County line, with Walter Reed right beside it on Jones Bridge Road. NIH has multiple entrance gates, and the guest building, the Clinical Center, and the Old Georgetown Road side are three different pickups; our chauffeurs know which is which. Walter Reed is a secured federal campus, so the chauffeur stages at the designated gate rather than a building entrance. Visiting scientists and grant reviewers flying into BWI are met curbside at arrivals, or inside the terminal on request, and driven straight to the campus or a downtown hotel as part of an hourly booking.
Marriott’s world headquarters anchors downtown Bethesda at 7707 Woodmont Ave with its own hotel on top, and defense-adjacent firms along Old Georgetown Road keep the roadshow pattern steady: hotel, Pentagon, agency, dinner, hotel. Bethesda Row holds the area’s densest restaurant strip, so evening hourly hire is practical here; the chauffeur handles the car while you have dinner, then runs you home.
A private chauffeured DC tour from a Bethesda hotel starts at your door: down Wisconsin Avenue, into the monument core, narrated by a chauffeur who knows the city, and back without touching a parking garage. Wedding weekends are the other staple. Bethesda Country Club on Bradley Boulevard and the downtown hotel ballrooms book up spring through fall, and wedding-party transport between a DC ceremony and a Bethesda reception is regular weekend work for the stretch limousine and Sprinter.
Bethesda’s short-term rentals cluster around downtown and along the Wisconsin Avenue corridor. Pickup works like any hotel: send the address, get a text when the chauffeur arrives. The same applies to private homes, and plenty of Bethesda bookings start at a front door in Edgemoor or Bradley Hills rather than a lobby.
Will the car come to a private home in Bethesda? Of course. Include the address and any driveway or parking note with the booking. On the narrower downtown streets the chauffeur coordinates arrival by text so the car pulls up as you walk out.
Can Smart Limo pick us up at the Marriott Bethesda Downtown? Yes. The hotel shares the block with Marriott’s own headquarters at 7707 Woodmont Ave, and the chauffeur waits at the Woodmont Avenue entrance. DCA runs about 25 to 30 minutes from here via the GW Parkway.
Does pickup work from the Hyatt Regency Bethesda? It does. The Hyatt at 7400 Wisconsin Ave sits directly over the Bethesda Metro station; the car meets you at the Wisconsin Avenue drive, one block from Bethesda Row’s restaurants.
How does pickup at the Bethesda North Marriott work? Your chauffeur stages at the conference center entrance at 5701 Marinelli Rd in Rockville, beside the North Bethesda Metro. Conference groups here often run multi-stop days into DC, which is exactly what hourly booking covers.
And the Canopy in North Bethesda? Covered, at 940 Rose Ave in the Pike & Rose development. Evening pickups here are usually dinner runs or shows; BWI is about 40 to 45 minutes when a flight starts the day.
The AC Hotel on Montgomery Avenue? Yes, 4646 Montgomery Ave, two blocks from Bethesda Row. We also pick up at every other hotel above, including the Bethesda Marriott at Pooks Hill, the Embassy Suites on Democracy Boulevard, the EVEN Rockville, and the smaller Wisconsin Avenue inns. Name the hotel and dispatch confirms the spot.
| Airport | Typical drive | Note |
|---|---|---|
| DCA (Reagan National) | 25 to 30 min | GW Parkway or Wisconsin Ave to Rock Creek |
| IAD (Dulles) | 40 min | I-495 to the Dulles Toll Road |
| BWI (Baltimore/Washington) | 40 to 45 min | I-495 east to the BW Parkway |
Planning estimates, not promises. Beltway rush can add 15 to 30 minutes, so the chauffeur sets the pickup time around live traffic. Early departures are routine: for a 6 a.m. BWI flight, a 3:30 to 4:00 a.m. pickup from Bethesda moves quickly on empty roads. Airport pickup at BWI, DCA, or IAD is part of an hourly or tour booking, timed to your flight.
Chevy Chase borders Bethesda to the east along Wisconsin Avenue. Silver Spring is 10 minutes east on East-West Highway. Downtown DC is 25 minutes south. The Maryland hub maps the whole state side, and hotel and Airbnb pickup explains how pickup works everywhere we serve.
Call (202) 609-9811 or book online. Dispatch answers 24/7.
Hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in the Executive Sedan and $420 in the Executive SUV, then $110 and $120 an hour. A private DC tour from a Bethesda hotel is $440 for 4 hours; the stretch limousine is $540 and the white Hummer $760. One flat quote, chauffeur included, no surge.
Yes. DCA is 25 to 30 minutes via the GW Parkway, Dulles about 40 and BWI 40 to 45 up the Beltway, and the pickup runs inside a 3-hour hourly booking from $380. Flights are tracked, the chauffeur pads the pickup for Beltway rush, and early departures are booked the same way, even at 3:30am.
Yes, at all of them: the Marriott Bethesda Downtown on Woodmont, the Hyatt Regency over the Metro, the AC Hotel on Montgomery Avenue, the Bethesda Marriott at Pooks Hill, the Embassy Suites on Democracy Boulevard and the North Bethesda and Rockville hotels, plus Airbnbs, homes and the NIH and Walter Reed campuses.
Pickup and drop-off are included anywhere within about 20 miles of downtown DC (ZIP 20005), roughly a 30-minute drive, and Bethesda is about 8 miles and 25 minutes from downtown DC, comfortably inside the included area. The drive counts inside your booked hours, so a 4-hour tour with 30 minutes each way leaves about 3 hours in the city; guests further out often book 5 hours. Beyond the 20-mile circle, call dispatch at (202) 609-9811 and we quote one flat rate that includes the travel.
For one ride down Wisconsin Avenue, no; for a dinner-and-show evening or a day of meetings, yes, because the vehicle waits between stops at a fixed price with no surge. Downtown DC is about 25 minutes, Silver Spring 10 minutes east, and an hourly booking covers the whole evening.
Yes. The 4-hour private monuments tour from $440 picks you up at your Bethesda hotel or home, runs Wisconsin Avenue into the city for the 11-stop circuit and returns you to the door. Visiting scientists and conference guests book it as a first-day orientation.
