IAD Airport Limo | Dulles Airport DC Limo Service

DC airport limo at Dulles (IAD). Flight tracking, customs meet-and-greet. Add IAD pickup to your tour or hourly booking. Call (202) 609-9811.

$110/hr · 3-hour minimum (from $380)

Washington Dulles International (IAD) is 45 minutes from downtown DC on a good day, longer in traffic. Our Dulles limo service is what international arrivals, business travelers, and tourists book when they want a chauffeur waiting at the customs exit instead of standing in the IAD rideshare queue. One thing to know up front: we do not sell one-way transfer-only trips. Your IAD pickup is part of a private tour or hourly chauffeur booking, which starts at 3 hours ($380 in the Town Car, $420 in the SUV). Land at IAD, and your monuments tour can start from the terminal. Call us at (202) 609-9811 or book online. We answer 24/7.

What makes IAD different from DCA and BWI

Dulles is DC’s main international gateway. It handles long-haul routes that neither DCA nor BWI serves: direct flights from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. For an international traveler arriving after 10 or 14 hours in the air, the last thing anyone wants is a 20-minute walk to a rideshare lot and a surge-priced car. That’s the problem we solve.

IAD is also the airport of choice for travelers whose final destination is Northern Virginia. Tysons Corner is 15 minutes from the terminal. Reston and Herndon are under 10. McLean is right in between. For those destinations, DCA’s shorter distance to DC doesn’t help at all.

The tradeoff with IAD is the Dulles Toll Road. Eastbound morning rush and westbound evening rush are the worst corridors in the DC metro. A 35-minute drive to downtown at noon can run 70 minutes at 5:30pm. Our chauffeurs route-watch 30 minutes before every pickup and adjust accordingly, sometimes using the Dulles Greenway to reach I-66, sometimes cutting south through Centreville.

IAD terminal and customs meet-and-greet detail

Dulles has one main terminal building with four concourses: A (domestic/regional), B (domestic and some international), C (international), and D (international). Flights from Europe and Asia typically arrive at Concourse C or D.

For international arrivals, customs exit passengers through a lower-level hall that opens near Door 4. This is where our chauffeur waits with a name sign. There’s no additional charge for meet-and-greet; just request it at booking and tell us your flight number. We track your actual wheels-down time and the chauffeur is in position before you clear customs.

For domestic arrivals, curbside pickup is the default. Tell us your terminal and we’ll have the driver waiting at the designated vehicle pickup zone outside baggage claim.

The IAD leg is the first or last stretch of your tour or hourly booking in an executive sedan or executive SUV; we quote the full booking before you confirm. Drive times shown are off-peak. Add 20 to 35 minutes to any downtown DC destination during weekday rush hours.

The drive from IAD to downtown also works in your favor on an arrival-day tour: by the time you reach the National Mall, your chauffeur has the luggage stowed, you’ve had water and a reset, and 2 of the 3 booked hours are still ahead of you.

How IAD flight tracking works

Once you provide your inbound flight number, our dispatch system monitors live status from takeoff to landing. International flights frequently arrive early or late by 30 to 60 minutes depending on headwinds and routing. We adjust the chauffeur’s schedule automatically. You don’t need to call us if your flight is delayed.

For international arrivals, customs processing time varies considerably. A 747 from Frankfurt carries 400-plus passengers; if you’re in economy, customs could take 45 minutes. We account for that in the free wait time. International arrivals get 60 minutes of included wait time from actual wheels-down, not from the scheduled arrival.

How early should I be picked up for an IAD departure?

For domestic departures from IAD, the chauffeur picks you up 2.5 hours before your boarding time. The main security checkpoint at Dulles can run long during morning peaks, and the terminal is large enough that getting from check-in to the gate takes 10 to 15 minutes by itself.

For international from Concourse C or D, 3 hours before boarding is the right window. Airlines request passengers check in 3 hours early for international departures anyway, and the pre-clearance lines at certain gates add time.

If you’re departing from Tysons or Reston, your pickup time is 30 to 45 minutes later than someone leaving from downtown DC. We factor that in automatically when you give us your address at booking.

Fleet options for IAD pickups

The executive sedan and executive SUV handle most runs. Both are black, late-model vehicles (Lincoln, Cadillac, or Mercedes) with professional chauffeurs. If you’re landing after a transatlantic flight with four oversized bags, the SUV is the better choice for luggage room.

Groups of 6 to 13 use the Mercedes Sprinter van. Corporate teams arriving together for a Northern Virginia conference are among the most common Sprinter bookings we run out of IAD; the hourly booking covers the airport leg plus the meeting schedule. For groups of 22 to 32, the executive mini-bus is available.

Common questions about IAD pickup

Can I book just an IAD-to-DC transfer? No. We do not sell one-way transfer-only trips. IAD pickup is included in any private tour or hourly chauffeur booking, which starts at 3 hours ($380 in the Town Car, $420 in the SUV). Most IAD clients use the booking as an arrival-day tour or a corporate hourly block.

Is there meet-and-greet at IAD for international arrivals? Yes. The chauffeur meets you at the customs exit on the lower level (Door 4 area) with a name sign. International arrivals get 60 minutes of free wait time from actual wheels-down. Request meet-and-greet at booking, no extra charge.

How long is the drive from IAD to downtown DC? 35 to 55 minutes off-peak. During weekday rush hours (inbound mornings, outbound evenings), expect 60 to 80 minutes. The Dulles Toll Road is the main variable. Our chauffeurs monitor real-time traffic from 30 minutes before pickup and reroute if needed.

Do you serve embassy and diplomatic clients at IAD? Yes. IAD is a regular arrival point for diplomatic staff and foreign dignitaries. The meet-and-greet process is discreet. Name signs can use initials or a code phrase. We don’t discuss client movements or itineraries.

What’s the difference between IAD and Dulles? The same airport. IAD is the IATA code for Washington Dulles International Airport, commonly called Dulles. Both terms refer to the same facility in Chantilly, Virginia.

Pricing and how to book

IAD pickup is included in the price of your tour or hourly booking. The Town Car starts at $380 for 3 hours and $440 for 4 hours, then $110 per hour; the Executive SUV runs $420, $480, and $120. International meet-and-greet adds nothing to the rate; just request it at booking.
