5-star rated on Tripadvisor & Viator
More than 240 travelers have reviewed our private Washington DC limo tours across Tripadvisor and Viator, and the same praise repeats: the chauffeur-guide who knows every monument, the on-time hotel pickup, and a day that felt effortless. Read our Tripadvisor reviews and our Viator reviews for yourself.
Guests we pick up in Silver Spring most often mention the monuments and memorials, the on-time hotel pickup and airport pickups that ran to the minute. Amin is the chauffeur guests name for knowing the city and being easy to be with all day. The same details repeat: plenty of photo stops and patience and flexibility with the plan. Each review below links to the Tripadvisor or Viator listing it was posted on.

Good value for a large group
For 10 people (4 adult and 6 kids/teens), this was a great alternative to the other night tours. We even got to see some of the less known memorials at the Pentagon! Very friendly and helpful driver.

DC tour
The driver was super knowledgeable about the different monuments and allowed us to experience them in whatever order we wanted stopping at different ones for us to take pictures and explore along the route. Extremely worth it for my family and I.

Great tour of all the monuments.
Our tour guide, Amin, was excellent! Dropped us off at the most optimal places to see the sites.

Wonderful tour
Our guide Amin was fantastic! He went above and beyond to make the tour all we could ask for. We saw every monument and then some

Our group was 18 family members in town for college graduation, ranging in age from 8 to 80. We had some ideas of the stops we wanted, and Teri our guide worked with us to incorporate them as well as other highlights she recommended. It worked perfectly. Family members could "choose their gear" with respect to walking, and the more ambitious were able to do several things in the same stop (eg Korean War memorial along with Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam). Thanks to Inam our driver and Teri our guide for a great experience!★★★★★
Thank you to Zack for a great day out - he made us feel like super stars!
We were surprised with an upgrade of transport to a stretch Hummer, taken to all the monuments and buildings we wanted to see and enjoyed music to make the experience memorable. Awesome.

Our driver was the best ever.
He knew exactly what every monument and statue was. He was sooo patient with the kids. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. I can’t say enough good things about this experience and our driver.

We booked this service for my husband's birthday. The tour was fantastic. It was extensive, stopping at all the monuments we wanted to see. We were able to customize the tour as well, spending more time at some monuments and skipping or shortening visits to those we were less interested in. The limo is able to park very close to each monument, much closer than we could have if we had driven ourselves. The driver was polite and helpful. Wear comfortable shoes because, despite the proximity to the monuments, there is still a lot of walking involved in exploring the monuments themselves. We did our tour at night and the monuments are gorgeous when lit for evening. The driver can tell you a few facts about each monument, but he was not a "certified tour guide" so if you want that much detail, this is not the tour to take. But if you want to see DC in absolute comfort, this is the way to do it. The limo will pick you up at your specified address in DC, drive you for four hours to the monuments on their list which is customizable, and then drop you back off at your specific DC address. If you want something to drink or eat, bring it yourself as only waters are provided in the limo. Definitely worth the money. Best way ever to see DC!!!★★★★★
Great tour!
For 10 people it was only a little more expensive than the public tours and was SO much more fun and easier, especially since they picked us up. Would recommend!

We were picked up at our hotel and the driver was super friendly. The limo driver took some pictures and made a personalized video using one of our cell phones of our group before and after we entered the limo. The day we toured DC it was going to be 100° F. Rather than ride a bus, bike, or other means, we took the limo which was air conditioned and the driver dropped us next to each site in the tour and pick us up either in the same spot as the drop off or close by as we left each site. In the limo there was free water bottle and ice with cups, which was refreshing on a hot day. We could choose the music we wanted to listen to through a cell phone the limo driver provided. There were some times the music was a bit loud, but either through the cell phone or a control in the car, the volume can be adjusted. It was also fun to watch people outside the limo as they were taking pictures of our vehicle (the hummer limo) just was much as some of the sites. If you are planning a tour of DC, I would recommend taking the personalized limo tour for comfort and you can choose how long you staying at each site and where to go. This is the way to go! We had 7 people in the limo and had lots of extra room for more people.★★★★★
Our driver Zaki made this 4 hour limousine ride the most memorable experience!
We were able to stop and spend time at the memorials (Jefferson, Lincoln, MLK, Washington monument), the White House, The Capital and The Washington Mall. Zaki, thanks for making me and my twin sister’s 60th birthday one we shall always remember!

Great way to see the Capital if you only have a few hours.
We had an afternoon flight on a Sunday and decided to get a tour of DC in the morning. It turned out to be a great way to see the major sights and monuments in a short period of time. Stopped at all the major landmarks on the Mall.

This tour was outstanding! Our driver Amin was a gem! He picked us up from the lobby of our hotel and right away took pictures and got us started. He was able give us the history of the city, stopped at all major monuments and took pictures for us at all stops. It was raining very hard but he had umbrellas ready, let us know the walk time to certain up close views to make sure we were prepared (all were short walks less than 5 mins and nothing hard to get to just not able to drive the limo all the way up to some which was totally understandable) but also made stops if needed (bathroom and quick food pick ups). We were out for a full four hours which left time to just drive around and see the city and enjoy the limo. I would highly recommend this tour even if you’ve been to DC and seen the sites in the past as it was super fun and the limo was very comfortable (we had 7 total people with plenty of room)! Thank you for a GREAT experience!★★★★★
This was an amazing experience.
The city comes alive in a different way at night and the limo tour was a very comfortable and safe way to experience the monuments. Our driver was very knowledgeable of the city and even dropped us off at our hotels. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Absolutely the best way to be picked up from
BWI then taken on private tour around DC and dropped off at your hotel!
Silver Spring is one of the most transit-connected corners of Maryland, and people here still book chauffeurs constantly, because plenty of trips don’t work on the Red Line: an 11 p.m. arrival with luggage, a group heading to a DC monuments tour, a Fillmore show that lets out after midnight. Smart Limo Rental picks up from both verified Silver Spring hotels, any Airbnb or apartment downtown, and any house from Woodside to Long Branch. BWI is about 30 minutes up the parkway, DCA about the same the other direction, and hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in an Executive Sedan. Call (202) 609-9811 and dispatch confirms your pickup point, any hour.
The downtown core around Veterans Plaza and Ellsworth Drive is walkable; the rest of Silver Spring sprawls, which is exactly where a door-to-door car earns its keep.
DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring (8727 Colesville Rd), the downtown high-rise two blocks from the Metro and the Fillmore. Holiday Inn Express Washington DC N-Silver Spring (7990 Georgia Ave), at the Georgia Avenue gateway on the DC line.
Hotel details last updated July 2026. Staying elsewhere? Send the address; we come to it.
Can Smart Limo pick us up at the DoubleTree Silver Spring? Yes. The DoubleTree at 8727 Colesville Rd has a compact front drive that shares its block with commuter traffic, so the chauffeur times the pull-in to your walk-out with a text ahead. From the door, BWI runs about 30 minutes via the Beltway and the BW Parkway.
Does pickup work from the Holiday Inn Express on Georgia Avenue? It does, at 7990 Georgia Ave. Guests here sit one traffic light from the DC line, which makes a monuments tour start fast: 16th Street runs straight to the White House in about 20 minutes.
The Fillmore on Colesville Road books national acts, and show-night pickups are the neighborhood’s signature booking: the chauffeur stages a block off the marquee just before the encore, and the group walks out to a waiting car instead of a rideshare scrum. AFI Silver, the restored art-deco cinema next door, draws festival crowds each fall with the same pattern. Ellsworth Drive’s restaurant block and summer events at Veterans Plaza fill in the weekend calendar, and post-dinner runs to DC or over to Bethesda (10 minutes on East-West Highway) are routine.
Silver Spring’s downtown apartment towers and the bungalow blocks toward Sligo Creek both hold short-term rentals. Same routine as a hotel: send the street address, get a text on arrival. Residential pickups here are half our Silver Spring work, from 4 a.m. BWI departures to prom-night Sprinters.
Do you come out to homes and rentals in Silver Spring? Every day. Include the address and any parking note with the booking. On the apartment blocks around the transit center the chauffeur coordinates by text and meets you at the lobby door.
| Airport | Typical drive | Note |
|---|---|---|
| BWI (Baltimore/Washington) | 30 min | Beltway east to the BW Parkway |
| DCA (Reagan National) | 30 min | 16th St through the city, traffic-dependent |
| IAD (Dulles) | 40 to 45 min | Beltway west to the Dulles Toll Road |
Planning estimates, not promises. The Beltway interchange backs up early with truck traffic, so for dawn departures the chauffeur pads the pickup time; you sleep an extra ten minutes instead of gambling. Airport pickup at BWI or DCA comes as part of an hourly or tour booking.
A private chauffeured DC tour from a Silver Spring hotel or home runs 16th Street straight into the monument core. Four hours from $440, door to door, narrated by a chauffeur who knows the city, and flexible mid-route whenever you want more time at a memorial.
Takoma Park borders Silver Spring to the east. Bethesda is 10 minutes west. Downtown DC is 25 minutes south. The Maryland hub maps the state side, and hotel and Airbnb pickup explains pickup everywhere we serve.
Call (202) 609-9811 or book online. Dispatch answers 24/7, no voicemail.
Hourly chauffeur service starts at $380 for 3 hours in the Executive Sedan and $420 in the Executive SUV, then $110 and $120 an hour. A private DC tour from a Silver Spring hotel or home is $440 for 4 hours; the stretch limousine is $540 and the white Hummer $760. One flat quote, no surge.
Yes. BWI is about 30 minutes up the BW Parkway and DCA about the same the other direction, and the pickup runs inside a 3-hour hourly booking from $380. The Beltway interchange backs up early with truck traffic, so for dawn departures the chauffeur pads the pickup time and you sleep the extra ten minutes.
Yes. The DoubleTree on Colesville Road two blocks from the Metro and the Fillmore, the Holiday Inn Express, and every home, apartment and Airbnb in Silver Spring, Takoma Park and the Four Corners area. The chauffeur meets you at the door.
Pickup and drop-off are included anywhere within about 20 miles of downtown DC (ZIP 20005), roughly a 30-minute drive, and Silver Spring is about 7 miles and 25 minutes from downtown, inside the included area. The drive counts inside your booked hours, so a 4-hour tour with 30 minutes each way leaves about 3 hours in the city; guests further out often book 5 hours. Beyond the 20-mile circle, call dispatch at (202) 609-9811 and we quote one flat rate that includes the travel.
Yes, and it starts fast: from the DoubleTree you sit one traffic light from the DC line, and 16th Street runs straight to the White House in about 20 minutes. The 4-hour private monuments tour is $440, picked up and returned to your door, narrated all the way.
Yes. Dispatch is staffed 24/7, and a Fillmore show that lets out after midnight, an Ellsworth Drive dinner or a Veterans Plaza summer event are routine evening bookings. The vehicle waits through the show at a fixed hourly price, so there is no surge when the crowd spills out.
