DC Investor Roadshow Transportation

Book corporate chauffeur DC for investor roadshows. Multi-stop, multi-day service with the same driver and real-time schedule adjustments.

$110/hr · 3-hour minimum (from $380)

Investor roadshows in DC are exhausting: 8 meetings in 9 hours, breakfast across town from a 9am pitch, lunch with your lawyer, an afternoon at the SEC, dinner with a private equity team. The chauffeur is the difference between making it and missing two meetings.

DC roadshow routes hit a distinct set of buildings: the SEC on F Street NW, private equity offices in Bethesda and Tysons, law firm conference rooms on Pennsylvania Avenue, and hotel lobbies at the St. Regis or the Hay-Adams for executive dinners. Traffic on the K Street corridor runs reliably heavy between 11:30am and 1:30pm. The 14th Street bridge backs up hard after 4pm on weekdays. These aren’t abstractions. They’re planning inputs that the chauffeur builds into your timing before the day starts.

How it works

  1. Discovery call the day before. We walk through your schedule, mapping every address, meeting time, and building entrance. The chauffeur researches parking access and load zones for each stop.
  2. Same chauffeur all day. They know your schedule, the order of stops, and where to stage at every building. No handoffs, no confusion mid-day.
  3. The vehicle waits between meetings. The chauffeur is in the car, ready when you walk out. They monitor the building entrance so they’re pulled up before you reach the curb.
  4. The schedule shifts in real time. If a meeting runs over, text the chauffeur. They adjust the next pickup time without rebooking, without extra fees, and without a dispatcher loop.
  5. End of day close-out. The chauffeur drops you at your hotel, the airport, or a final dinner, all stops complete. Multi-day roadshows get a flat-rate quote for the full run.

Vehicle options for roadshows

Sedan ($110/hr): The standard choice for a solo executive or a two-person team. Gets into tight drop-off spots at downtown lobbies. Easy to stage near restricted government buildings.

Executive SUV ($120/hr): Four to five passengers with luggage room. Good for a small deal team that needs to debrief between stops. The rear cabin has enough space that two people can work without cramping.

Mercedes Sprinter ($140/hr): Six to thirteen passengers. When the whole team travels together from the hotel to the first pitch and back, the Sprinter keeps everyone on the same timeline. Conference-style seating in some configurations. Useful for associate-level teams who need a workspace between meetings.

The right choice usually depends on team size. Solo executives and small deal teams typically go sedan or SUV. A six-person team on a two-day roadshow tends to go Sprinter because it keeps everyone together and cuts the coordination overhead.

DC-specific roadshow corridors

Most DC investor roadshows concentrate in a few corridors:

Downtown / Penn Quarter: Dense with law firms, lobbying offices, and government agencies. Parking is metered only; the chauffeur stages in loading zones and monitors the entrance.

K Street NW: The traditional corridor for financial services and lobbying firms. One-way street patterns between 18th and 22nd Streets require precise routing to avoid unnecessary laps.

Bethesda: Private equity and investment offices cluster around the Bethesda Metro corridor and along Wisconsin Avenue. 20 to 25 minutes from downtown with no traffic; plan 35 to 40 minutes during the midday window.

Tysons Corner: Technology and government contractor offices. The Silver Line makes it accessible by Metro, but for a roadshow team with bags and materials, a dedicated vehicle is faster and more consistent.

Multi-day roadshow logistics

For roadshows running two or more days, we assign the same chauffeur to the full engagement when scheduling allows. Same face, same vehicle, familiarity with your preferences. Billing is flat-rate per day based on the scheduled hours, not an open meter.

Multi-day bookings also get priority dispatch. If there’s a flight delay on day two or a meeting reschedule, the chauffeur adjusts across the full remaining schedule, not just the current leg.

Common questions

Do you do investor roadshows with multiple stops? Yes. Multi-stop, multi-day roadshows are among our most common corporate bookings. The day-before discovery call is the piece most clients find most valuable. Having someone map the route and the timing in advance cuts the mid-day scramble significantly.

Can Net-30 corporate billing work for a roadshow engagement? Yes. Corporate accounts get net-30 invoicing with a single invoice covering the full engagement, including all days, all vehicles, and any tolls incurred.

What if a meeting location changes the morning of? Call or text the chauffeur directly. They reroute in real time. For a downtown-to-downtown swap, the adjustment usually takes minutes. For a longer reroute (say, adding a Tysons stop to a downtown-only day), the chauffeur recalculates timing and flags if the schedule needs padding.

How is this different from booking a black-car app by the hour? The app assigns whoever is nearby. They don’t know your itinerary, don’t have your next address queued, and don’t have any continuity from leg to leg. For a single transfer, that’s fine. For a full-day roadshow, you end up managing logistics yourself and the “savings” evaporate in wasted time.

Pricing

Roadshows are billed hourly with a daily minimum. Sedan: $110/hr, 8-hour day = $880. SUV: $120/hr, or $960 for the 8-hour day. Sprinter for a team of 6 or more: $140/hr, 8-hour day = $1,120.
