It was so fun being in the limo together.
We wanted to see the sites but at our own pace and not be part of a guided tour with a headset. This was perfect, there were 9 of us aged 14-58, we all loved it. We listened to our own music and talked about the facts at each stop. And had a lot of fun together . Our driver was great, very accommodating.

We were picked up at our hotel and the driver was super friendly. The limo driver took some pictures and made a personalized video using one of our cell phones of our group before and after we entered the limo. The day we toured DC it was going to be 100° F. Rather than ride a bus, bike, or other means, we took the limo which was air conditioned and the driver dropped us next to each site in the tour and pick us up either in the same spot as the drop off or close by as we left each site. In the limo there was free water bottle and ice with cups, which was refreshing on a hot day. We could choose the music we wanted to listen to through a cell phone the limo driver provided. There were some times the music was a bit loud, but either through the cell phone or a control in the car, the volume can be adjusted. It was also fun to watch people outside the limo as they were taking pictures of our vehicle (the hummer limo) just was much as some of the sites. If you are planning a tour of DC, I would recommend taking the personalized limo tour for comfort and you can choose how long you staying at each site and where to go. This is the way to go! We had 7 people in the limo and had lots of extra room for more people.★★★★★

This tour was outstanding! Our driver Amin was a gem! He picked us up from the lobby of our hotel and right away took pictures and got us started. He was able give us the history of the city, stopped at all major monuments and took pictures for us at all stops. It was raining very hard but he had umbrellas ready, let us know the walk time to certain up close views to make sure we were prepared (all were short walks less than 5 mins and nothing hard to get to just not able to drive the limo all the way up to some which was totally understandable) but also made stops if needed (bathroom and quick food pick ups). We were out for a full four hours which left time to just drive around and see the city and enjoy the limo. I would highly recommend this tour even if you’ve been to DC and seen the sites in the past as it was super fun and the limo was very comfortable (we had 7 total people with plenty of room)! Thank you for a GREAT experience!★★★★★

Absolutely the best way to be picked up from
BWI then taken on private tour around DC and dropped off at your hotel!
A Loudoun County wine tour by limousine is a private, chauffeur-driven day trip from Washington DC into the region Loudoun calls DC’s Wine Country, the densest cluster of wineries near the capital. A career chauffeur who knows the trail picks your group up from your DC, Maryland, or Virginia hotel, drives the full loop to three Loudoun-area wineries with a lunch stop in the middle, and handles every mile, parking lot, and route between vineyards. Because the chauffeur drives, nobody plays designated driver, so everyone in the group tastes. This Northern Virginia wine tour runs 6 hours door to door and starts at $660 in the executive sedan. You plan nothing: we build the three-winery route for you, and since the tour is private it bends to your group in the moment, so you can swap a winery, linger longer at a tasting, or add a stop just by asking.
Loudoun County holds more than 40 wineries within an hour’s drive west of the city, the most of any Virginia county, which is why it markets itself as DC’s Wine Country. The landscape changes the moment you cross into Loudoun: rolling hills, horse farms, and low stone walls. Most of the best wineries sit between Leesburg, Purcellville, and the Delaplane corner to the south, which keeps the day’s driving manageable and the views constant.
A Loudoun County wine tour by limo is a 6-hour private day trip in which your chauffeur drives your group from DC to three wineries across DC’s Wine Country, with a lunch stop built into the route. The car is yours for the day, the chauffeur plans and drives the whole loop, and your group’s only job is to taste and enjoy the ride. It is the done-for-you alternative to renting a car and choosing a sober driver for a region with more than 40 wineries to sort through.
Loudoun earns its own tour because of sheer density and range. You can pair a hilltop estate with a sweeping deck, a modern food-forward tasting room, and a small family producer all within a short loop. You ride out in an executive sedan, a black Executive SUV, a Stretch Limousine, or a Mercedes Sprinter for larger groups, and your chauffeur knows which Loudoun tasting rooms take walk-ins, which need a reservation on your date, and which ones run live music or events the weekend you visit.
Three wineries plus a lunch stop is the pace we recommend, and the 6 hours are built around it. Each tasting runs 45 to 60 minutes when you are not rushing, drives between Loudoun wineries are typically 10 to 20 minutes, and that leaves room for a real lunch rather than a snack in the car.
If your group would rather trade lunch for a fourth winery, your chauffeur can run four shorter stops. Most groups find three tastings plus a sit-down lunch is the rhythm that does not feel rushed and still gets everyone back to DC by late afternoon. A typical day breaks down like this:
The exact three depend on your taste, the season, and what is open on your date, and your chauffeur builds the route around your answers. We ask a few questions when you book: reds or whites, hilltop view or casual deck, food-forward or wine-focused. These are the producers we return to most across Loudoun and the Delaplane corner just south:
Tell us what you like and your chauffeur builds the route. We know which Loudoun and Delaplane wineries take reservations only, which run seasonal events on your date, and which sit close enough to pair on one easy loop.
Yes. Your chauffeur is the designated driver for the entire day, which is the reason to book a limo wine tour instead of taking your own car. The chauffeur drives out to Loudoun, waits at each winery while your group tastes, drives between every stop, and brings you home to DC at the end. No one in your party stays sober for the road, and no one watches the clock for the trip back.
In Loudoun this matters because the best wineries are spread along rural roads west of Leesburg and down toward Delaplane, and the drive home after three or four tastings is exactly the leg you do not want to handle yourself. With a chauffeur, every guest tastes freely at every stop, and the tiring part of a wine day disappears.
The Loudoun County wine tour runs 6 hours door to door and starts at $660 in the executive sedan for up to 3 guests. Six hours is also the minimum for any wine tour we run, because the drive west of DC makes a shorter day pointless. The 6 hours cover about 90 minutes to 2 hours of driving, three tastings, and a lunch stop, the length that fits three Loudoun wineries without anyone watching the clock.
Group size sets the vehicle, and the vehicle sets the price. Here is the full 6-hour wine-tour rate by vehicle:
| Vehicle | Group size | 6-hour price |
|---|---|---|
| executive sedan | Up to 3 | $660 |
| Executive SUV | Up to 6 | $720 |
| Stretch Limousine | Up to 10 | $810 |
| Mercedes Sprinter Van | Up to 13 | $840 |
| Executive Mini Bus | 22 to 32 | $1,080 |
| Luxury Coach Bus | 33 to 55 | $1,335 |
Each winery sets its own tasting fee, usually $15 to $30 per person, paid at the tasting room, and many credit it back when you buy a bottle. Your chauffeur knows which Loudoun stops waive the fee with a reservation on your date.
For a bachelorette party or any group of six or more, the Mercedes Sprinter is the workhorse: it carries up to 13, has open seating, and keeps the whole party together in one vehicle between stops instead of caravanning down Route 7. Larger parties move up to the Executive Mini Bus, which seats 22 to 32.
Loudoun is the region built for celebration groups. Stone Tower and Sunset Hills have the room and the deck space for a larger party, Bluemont delivers the hilltop photo everyone wants, and several wineries run live music on weekends from May through October. You can bring your own bottles and sparkling for the rides between wineries, and your chauffeur lines up the three wineries that handle a larger group best on a given weekend. For a couples trip, the executive sedan or the Executive SUV is the right size, and the quieter rooms at 868 Estate and Delaplane Cellars are the wine-focused stops.
Late spring (May into June) and fall (September into October) are the best windows. April through June brings the most consistent weather, and September and October are harvest season, when the estates release new vintages, run crush events, and the views over the Loudoun Valley are at their best. Many Loudoun wineries host live music and food trucks on weekends from May through October.
Summer works but can be hot on the open decks, so lean toward wineries with covered or indoor tastings on a July or August date. Winter pours are quiet and intimate, though some smaller producers trim their weekday hours. Whatever your date, we call ahead to confirm what is open and what events are running before the tour, and we flag any reservation requirements when you book.
Loudoun and Middleburg sit side by side west of DC and suit different days. Loudoun County (DC’s Wine Country) has the largest concentration of wineries in one area and more event-friendly tasting rooms with decks, lawns, and live music, which fits big weekend groups and bachelorette parties. Middleburg leans toward serious, French-style estate wines (Bordeaux blends, formal tasting rooms, hunt-country scenery), which suits couples and groups focused on the wine itself.
Both run from DC with the same chauffeured setup and the same 6-hour day. If you want volume, variety, and a livelier room, book Loudoun. If you want the quieter, estate-driven experience, the Middleburg wine tour covers Boxwood, Greenhill, and Chrysalis on a different loop. Start at the wine country tours hub to see the full lineup, or compare this against the broader Virginia wine country tour. For wineries north of the city, the Maryland wine tour is a separate route.
Tell us your date, group size, and whether you lean reds or whites, and your chauffeur builds the three-winery route before you confirm. An expert answers 24/7, no voicemail. Call (202) 609-9811 or book online.
Stone Tower Winery near Leesburg for a modern room with charcuterie and Viognier, Bluemont Vineyard for hilltop views to the Blue Ridge, 868 Estate in Purcellville for small-batch food-forward tastings, and Delaplane Cellars on the Fauquier line for a mountain-view deck. We build your three around your taste.
From $660 for 6 hours in the Executive Sedan for up to 3 guests, or $720 in the Executive SUV for up to 6. The stretch limousine is $810, the Mercedes Sprinter $840 for up to 13, the mini bus $1,080 for 22 to 32. Wine tours carry a 6-hour minimum in every vehicle.
About 45 to 60 minutes west, depending on traffic and which end of the trail you start. Your chauffeur handles the Dulles Toll Road and Route 7, the drives between wineries run 10 to 20 minutes, and the whole loop fits comfortably in a 6-hour day with lunch.
Three plus a lunch stop is the pace we recommend. Each tasting runs 45 to 60 minutes and the drives between Loudoun wineries are short, so six hours fits three relaxed tastings and a proper lunch. Prefer a fourth winery instead of lunch? Your chauffeur runs four shorter stops.
Yes. Your chauffeur drives out to Loudoun, waits at each winery while your group tastes, and brings you home to DC. The best rooms sit on rural roads west of Leesburg and down toward Delaplane, exactly the drive you do not want after three tastings. Everyone in your party tastes freely.
Tasting fees are paid at each winery, and most Loudoun producers credit the fee toward a bottle purchase. Your tour price covers the private vehicle, your professional chauffeur, the drive both ways and the waiting time at every stop. Your chauffeur knows which rooms waive the fee with a reservation.
